Al-Qaeda has overrun a major city in Iraq. So the Prime Minister is urging Iraqis to fight back.
FOX News Radio's Emily Wither reports:
The black flag of al-Qaeda is raised in the Iraqi city of Fallujah. Government troops are surrounding the city-- preparing to try and retake it, after gunmen captured it last week. During a visit to the region, Secretary of State John Kerry says this is a fight for the Iraqis not the U.S.:
Secretary Kerry: "We're not contemplating putting boots on the ground. This is their fight. But we are going to help them in their fight."
It's not clear what support the U.S. will provide. But Iran, a close ally of the Shiite-led government is offering to send military equipment and advisers.
