Hired! Companies Still Hiring Seasonal Workers
It’s not too late to find a job for the Christmas season.
FOX Business Network’s Cheryl Casone reports in this edition of “Hired!”:
Getting you Hired! I’m Cheryl Casone with the FOX Business Network.
Christmas is only a week away, but we have companies that are still hiring seasonal workers.
H&R Block hires 80,000 people year-round, but their peak hiring season is from September to January. They need tax professionals as well as customer care, tech support and marketing people.
You’ve all heard online retailing is big and growing. The world’s largest e-tailer, Amazon, has increased seasonal hiring 40% this year. They have distribution, packaging, and shipping positions. They say they pay 30% more than retail jobs and expect to make thousands of new hires permanent.
Limited Brands is the parent company of chains like Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works. They’re adding 55,000 mostly in-store positions during the holidays.
The Container Store has more than 600 seasonal sales and transition team member jobs in their 63 stores.
Finally, David’s Bridal is hiring 2,800 people for its busy season that continues through Valentine’s Day.
