A woman’s first love – on wheels… And doing the splits at Volvo.

FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper with more in “FOX Wheels“, our weekly look at the industry:

It’s FOX Wheels.

Gail Wise’s 1964 Mustang is in her suburban Chicago garage. Ford officials, celebrating the car’s 50th anniversary this week, confirm Wise’s powder blue rag-top is the first ever sold.

Her husband Tom says:

(Tom) “This car is just the way it came from the factory.”

(Gail) “Our 11-year-old granddaughter asked if she could have it when she turns 16.”

Nice try, kid.

Hyundai will offer a hydrogen-powered small SUV in the U.S. next year.

Toyota and Honda say they’ll do the same in 2015.

Taking a cue from Chrysler which used Will Farrell’s “Ron Burgundy” character to sell Dodge: Honda is using singer Michael Bolton.

And to demonstrate truck steering, Volvo is using Jean-Claude Van Damme who says he has…

(Volvo Ad) “A mindset to master the most epic of splits.”

That split — one foot on the rear side mirror of 2 semis that drive backwards and slowly separate.

It has been parodied by actor Channing Tatum… who stands on rolling food carts.
