Black Friday [VIDEO]
Holiday shoppers are decking the malls this Black Friday.
FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper has more on this year’s post-turkey spending spree:
Today is a shopper’s dream– or a nightmare if you’re the person being dragged along. Trae Bodge, Senior Editor for RetailMeNot.com says, some experts have questioned whether Black Friday is dead:
Bodge: “I would say in no way is Black Friday dead. Black Friday is just changing a little bit.”
With deals being offered even earlier than previous years and staggered sales.
Bodge says on this biggest shopping day of the year:
Bodge: “You can be subject to deal overload. There are a lot of e-mails coming and texts and circulars in your mailbox and it’s hard to make sense of it all. I think the best thing to do is make a list and stick to it.”
The National Retail Federation says Black Friday weekend spending last year reached an estimated $59 billion dollars.
