FOX in the Fast Lane.
Six time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson says to win a Cup…
(Johnson) “You have to have ten great weeks to be the Champion and we got it done this year.”
For Matt Kenseth, who finished the Chase in second place…
(Kenseth) “Jimmie and that team are just obviously unbelievable and you know… Never see anything like this in the sport, and probably never will see anything like it again. So it’s just, it’s amazing.”
And Dale Earnhardt Jr. says he’s proud of how he and his team performed and…
(Earnhardt Jr.) “Hoping next year we just continue that trend and that trajectory and get a shot at trying to win, win a championship. I think we can do it.”
Look for changes in pit row next season that include Tony Stewart’s Crew Chief Steve Addington replaced with Chad Johnston. Steve Addington moving to Phoenix Racing as Director of Competition and Crew Chief for the No. 51 car. And Nationwide Crew Chief Mike Kelley moving to the Sprint Cup Series and Roush Fenway Racing, reuniting him with driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
