House Speaker John Boehner draws a line in the sand when it comes to immigration reform, taking a Senate passed bill off the table.
FOX News Radio's Jared Halpern reports from Capitol Hill:
With immigration reform supporters keeping up the pressure on lawmakers here, House Speaker John Boehner signals a Senate-passed plan is not on the table.
Boehner: "Frankly, I'll make clear, we have no intention of ever going to conference on this Senate bill."
The Senate bill passed over the summer, provides a path to citizenship for millions of immigrants in the country illegally, coupled with increased border security. House Republicans prefer a piece-by-piece approach over sweeping legislation.
