NASCAR’s Trevor Bayne Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis
A NASCAR driver has a new challenge off the track: Trevor Bayne has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
Trevor Bayne is just 22. Just two years ago he became the youngest Daytona 500 winner. Now doctors at the Mayo Clinic say he has multiple sclerosis, but he says he feels fine…
(Bayne) “Right after we went to the Mayo Clinic, I went to Iowa and won the race, and got married before that. So, as far as the driving stuff I feel like everything’s been good to go.”
His trips to the Mayo Clinic began after being sidelined in 2011 complaining of numbness and double vision. He’s still going to race at this weekend’s championship event here in Florida.
