A new study questions the movie rating system... saying gun violence is surging in PG-13 films.

FOX News Radio's Dave Anthony reports:

The most violent movies are supposed to be rated R, like "Scarface"...

("Scarface")

But nowadays, a new University of Pennsylvania and Ohio State University study says gun violence is greater in top grossing PG-13 films:

("Iron Man")

...Like "Iron Man", than in top R-rated movies. Tripling since PG-13's debut in 1985 in response to more violent PG movies:

("Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom")

...Such as "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom". A study co-author calls it disturbing since kids are more exposed to them. He wants the ratings system reconsidered. No comment from the Motion Picture Association that rates movies.
