A big day for social media giant Twitter, as it goes public on the New York Stock Exchange.
FOX News Radio's Tonya J. Powers reports:
The company is set to make a big splash with its little messages.
Twitter priced 70 million shares at $26 a share on Wednesday evening. That's above the targeted range of $23 to $25 a share.
Twitter is trying to avoid the technical glitches Facebook had during its high-profile offering on the Nasdaq, one thing that may have led Twitter to the New York Stock Exchange.
The company could raise $2.1 billion, making it the second largest internet offering in the U.S. behind Facebook's $16 billion IPO last year.
