Obama Administration Seeks Support Over Healthcare Website
The Obama administration is reaching out to key allies, part of damage control for the shaky start to the Affordable Care Act website.
FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from the Washington:
House Democrats were briefed on the problems with healthcare.gov.
(Becerra) “We have to figure out, in terms of the website, how can we continue to improve it to make sure that everyone’s getting the information they need and based on that hold everyone accountable for what they did or didn’t do.”
California Democrat Xavier Becerra calls the website woes troubling, but says he’s committed to making the program work, calling it a bigger problem if Americans are left without insurance options.
House Republican leaders argue problems with Obamacare are much deeper than just a website. A House committee holds its first hearing on the roll-out tomorrow.
