More Finger Pointing as Shutdown Continues

    Capitol

There is a fresh round of finger pointing on day eight of the government shutdown.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from Washington:

    John Boehner

When it comes to both funding the government and raising the debt ceiling:

(Boehner) “I’m not drawing any lines in the sand. It’s time for us to just sit down and resolve our differences.”

House Speaker John Boehner also blasted Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid for refusing to negotiate on the inclusion of Obamacare rollbacks in a federal spending bill.

    Harry Reid

(Reid) “Obamacare is not gonna just magically disappear.”

Reid on the Senate floor, firing back at Boehner for reneging on a deal to pass a continuing resolution earlier this year after the Senate agreed to Boehner’s demand to continue the spending cuts mandated by the sequester.
