Housecall for Health: Cancer Facts Vs. Fiction
There’s a lot of information on cancer… but what’s real and what’s not?
FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in this edition of “Housecall for Health”:
There’s a lot of info out there on cancer causes and prevention, but one survey of top cancer specialists helps sort out fact from fiction. The FDA only requires products to list carcinogens with definitive evidence on the label, so many potential elements don’t come with a warning. Some studies show marijuana may keep tumors in check, but it won’t cure the disease. There’s no scientific proof that herbs and vitamins prevent cancer.
