More Measles Cases

    Measles

There has been an uptick in cases of a childhood disease: measles.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Foster reports:

There’s been more measles this year, already the most cases in the United States since the mid-90s: At least 159 so far.

Most kids get vaccinated for it now: Before that, 50 years ago, almost everyone got the measles as children, with nearly 500 American deaths annually, on average.

The Centers for Disease Control says most new cases now are due to someone bringing it back from overseas, to someone unvaccinated.
