Ariel Castro, the Cleveland man who kidnapped three women and raped them, and held them captive for about a decade has been found dead in his prison cell. Castro had been sentenced to life in prison plus 1,000 years.
FOX News Radio's Jeff Monosso reports:
Preliminary autopsy results show that Ariel Castro hanged himself late last night at a state correctional center in Orient, Ohio about a month after being sent to prison for the kidnapping of Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight.
(Weintraub) "For society in general and the city of Cleveland, there's probably people cheering today."
Though Castro defense attorney Craig Weintraub says his former client was sick and that he should have been on suicide watch. The incident is under review.
