FOX Country: Randy Travis To Release Covers Album
Randy Travis recovers with a covers album, Alabama gets a little help from some friends and ‘American Idol’ alum, Scotty McCreery gets set to release some new music.

Despite heart problems and a stroke, Randy Travis plans to release a covers album this fall, featuring covers of Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Ernest Tubb and more traditional country artists. It will also include his duet with Joe Nichols.
Travis: “Tonight I’m playing possum…” (song)
The collection will be his first new music since he suffered a stroke last month following congestive heart failure. Travis is still undergoing physical therapy.
Alabama: “We get together anytime we can…” (song)
The band Alabama is out with a new collaborative album called “Alabama & Friends”, which includes the bands first new material in more than a decade. Guests include: Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, The Eli Young band, Florida Georgia Line, Jamey Johnson, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts and Trisha Yearwood.
McCreery: “‘Girl I gotta see ya tonight, tonight…” (song)
‘American Idol’ winner, Scotty McCreery will release his new album, “See You Tonight” on October 15th.
