Ben As Batman Causes Social Media Backlash
When Ben Affleck was announced as the new Batman, it created a mostly negative firestorm on social media.
FOX News Radio’s Entertainment Correspondent, Sabrina Sabbagh reports:
(music) Once people got past the initial jokes about Batman having a Boston accent and posting pictures of the Aflac duck with a Batman mask, comic book fans started seriously assessing Warner Bros. choice. Many concerned that the actor turned director just doesn’t have it in him. But, it won’t be Affleck’s first time as a superhero. He played a blind Marvel crime fighter in 2003’s “Daredevil” (movie clip) And, portrayed 1950’s Superman Actor George Reeves in 2006’s “Hollywoodland”.

Here are some reactions from Twitter to the casting of Affleck as the next Batman:
Really looking forward to seeing Affleck bring the depth and gravitas to Batman that he brought to Daredevil and Gigli.

I should play Batman instead of Ben Affleck, I already have a cape and a mask.
