New Alabama Gun Law
Concealed weapons permit holders in Alabama will soon get to take weapons to their jobs.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
Alabama on Thursday will start to allow people with concealed-carry permits to keep their handguns locked in their car while at work, even if their employer prohibited the practice in the past. It’s a new law the state passed, and it also allows workers with hunting licenses to keep unloaded hunting firearms locked up in their cars while at work during hunting season. State lawmaker Barbara Boyd opposed the measure, saying it will lead to more incidents like the Trayvon Martin shooting in Florida.
