It’s A Boy! Royal Baby Is Born [VIDEO]
Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate became the new parents of a baby boy. The Duchess gave birth to her son on Monday afternoon. Following the birth, the Duke of Cambridge stating, ”We could not be happier”.
FOX News Radio’s Simon Owen reports from Buckingham Palace in London:
Perhaps a couple of thousand people have headed down here on a hot summer’s evening. Some cheering, some blowing party horns and cars have been hooting as they drive past.
The details of the baby’s birth are posted on an easel just behind me revealing the child weighed 8lbs and 6oz. He arrived at 4:24pm British time. The baby and the Duchess are doing well according to Kensington Palace. They’ll stay in the hospital overnight. And there’s no news on a name yet.

THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE HAS BEEN DELIVERED OF A SON
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4.24pm.
The baby weighs 8lbs 6oz.
The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.
Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well and will remain in hospital overnight.

1. The medical staff present were Mr Marcus Setchell, Surgeon-Gynaecologist, Mr Guy Thorpe-Beeston, Obstetrician and Dr Sunit Godambe, Consultant Neonatologist at St Mary’s Hospital.
2. The names of the baby will be announced in due course.
3. The baby is third in the line of Succession after His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge. He is styled His Royal Highness Prince of Cambridge.
4. A formal notice of the birth will be posted on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace this evening.
