Housecall for Health: Mosquito Preferences
Do you feel like you’re a mosquito magnet? You just may be. Like us, mosquitoes have preferences too.
FOX News Radio’s Jill Nado explains in this edition of “Housecall for Health”:
Just like you may like fries over broccoli, mosquitoes may prefer you to your neighbor.
If you’re a beer drinker, get ready to get bitten. Or if you’re pregnant, you’re far more attractive because you’re emitting more carbon dioxide, and they love that. Smithsonian magazine also reports that mosquitoes have preferences in blood types. To them, Type O is like chocolate. And mosquitoes use their eyes to find a meal and they love people wearing striking colors, like navy or red.
Housecall for Health, I’m Jill Nado, FOX News Radio.
