Relative Arrested in CA Missing Autistic Boy Case
Human remains found in California appear to be the body of an 11-year-old autistic boy who had been missing, and a family member has been arrested in the case.
FOX News Radio’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:
Terry Smith’s teenage brother was watching him Saturday night while their mom was out. The teenager told Riverside County Sheriffs investigators that he went to walk somewhere, saw Terry following him and told him to go home. Early Wednesday, law enforcement got a call about human remains on the property where Terry lived.
(Hill) “Occupants of the residence were transported to the police station and interviewed. As a result of those interviews a 16-year-old family member was arrested for murder.”
Captain John Hill says they haven’t confirmed that the body is Terry’s, but say the remains match his description.
