No More Lost Luggage?
You may be able to travel without bringing along the fear of losing your luggage.
FOX News Radio’s Bill Vitka explains:
Losing luggage on an airplane could soon be a thing of the past.
The company, GlobaTrac, plans to begin shipping next week a palm-sized device that you toss into your bag to track your luggage. You keep an eye on it by way of the internet or a smartphone app. The device is called Trackdot. It sells for $50, plus fees.
Meanwhile Airbus last month announced technology known as Bag2Go that involves embedding a satellite tracker and bar code onto the suitcase. And once on board you use an app to check on the bag and alert flight crew if it’s not there.
