Search Continues For Jimmy Hoffa’s Remains
FBI agents are continuing to dig in a field outside of Detroit. They’re looking for well-known former Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa, who disappeared decades ago.
FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper reports:
Jimmy Hoffa disappeared from a Detroit-area restaurant in 1975.
Over the years, searches have included the razing of a horse barn near Milford, Michigan and a tearing up backyard in Roseville.
This latest tip comes from Tony Zerilli who says he was in prison when Hoffa vanished, and learned the details when he got out.
Keith Corbett, a former prosecutor who ran the organized crime strike force says Zerilli would’ve been in a position to know…
(Corbett) “Given the fact that he was the son of the boss of the family at the time this event happened and carried the title of underboss during most of this period of time.”
Zerilli claims Hoffa was hit with a shovel, buried alive, and a concrete slab placed over the grave.
