Fewer Adults Smoking

Fewer Americans are smoking according to a new survey from the CDC.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Foster reports:

About 18% of American adults smoke, according to a survey by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That’s down a little from a rate that had stayed fairly steady for about the last seven years. The CDC launched a big anti-smoking ad push last year, trying to get that rate down. The survey, of 35,000 adults, with “smokers” defined as having more than a hundred cigarettes in their lifetime, and at least one on some days now. Teenagers, not included in this survey.
