The national body managing organ transplants rejecting emergency rule changes Monday for children under 12 waiting for donor lungs. But creating a special appeal and review system to hear such cases.
Those moves coming after a federal judge ordered 10-year-old Sarah Murnaghan and 11-year-old Javier Acosta be made eligible for adult lungs.
