Housecall for Health: Designated Drivers

Driving

Is your designated driver steering clear of alcohol? According to a new study, many aren’t.

FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in this edition of Housecall for Health:

Do you trust your designated driver?

Researchers at the University of Florida find two out of five DD’s drink before getting behind the wheel. And as much as 50% of them have a blood alcohol level of .05% — just below the legal alcohol limit, but enough to affect driving ability.

The study will be published in the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs.
