FOX in the Fast Lane: Party in the Poconos 400 (Pocono)

Pocono

It’s off to the Tricky Triangle, the Pocono Raceway for the Party in the Poconos 400… and more trouble and more fines for Brad Keselowski.

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee “Trackside” Teshineh previews the race:

FOX in the Fast Lane.

Headed to Pocono this weekend, Jeff Gordon gives his team high marks so far this season, but he knows a good season can go bad quickly.

(Gordon) “We’ve just, you know, have had some things happen to us like, kind of like last year — you know some self-inflicted and some things out of our hands.”

For Denny Hamlin, when Pocono got repaved, it was like racing on a completely different track because…

(Hamlin) “You’ve got a whole ‘nother surface. New set-ups new way of driving style every single time.”

More fines for Penske Racing. NASCAR officials says the No. 2 car, driven by Brad Keselowski failed a post-race inspection after Dover. Team owner Roger Penske said the failure was due to a broken part that allowed a front spring to fall and made the entire front of the car too low. Crew Chief Paul Wolfe fined $25,000 and the team and driver were docked six points each, dropping Keselowski to 10th in the points standings.
