Yanira Maldonado, a mother of seven who was held in a Mexican jail for a week, accused of drug smuggling, has been released.
FOX News Radio's Jessica Rosenthal reports:
The 42-year-old mother was released after spending a week in a Mexican jail. She and her husband were on their way back to Arizona after attending her aunt's funeral. Mexican soldiers said they found 12 pounds of marijuana under her seat.
(Maldonado) "I'm very grateful that I'm free, that, for my family."
Her detention became an international incident. The soldiers apparently giving conflicting stories about how they found the drugs.
