Have elements within the Chinese military been able to hack into sensitive computer systems controlled by the U.S. military?

A senior defense official confirms a report that says hackers in China stole designs of more than two dozen major U.S. weapons systems. The report says those weapons include the advanced Patriot missile system, the Blackhawk helicopter and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter jet. Following the report, the Pentagon issuing a statement to reassure U.S. allies ahead of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel's trip to Asia later this week. Quote: "We maintain full confidence in our weapons platforms. Suggestions that cyber intrusions have somehow led to the erosion of our capabilities or technological edge are incorrect."
