(Weiner) "I hope I get a second chance to work for you."

Anthony Weiner, the New York Congressman resigned in disgrace two years ago after a online scandal on Twitter in which he initially denied tweeting a photo of himself in his underwear to a college student in Seattle.

He announced his plans to run for Mayor in a video on his website.

(Weiner) "Look I made some big mistakes and I know I let a lot of people down, but I've also learned some tough lessons. I'm running for Mayor because I've been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it my entire life."

Weiner has nearly $5 million in his campaign chest.
