    President Obama discussed some domestic controversies during his joint news conference with the Prime Minister of Turkey.

    On the IRS targeting political groups, the President says the first step in fixing the problem is underway: getting new leadership.

    (President Obama) “We’re also gonna make sure that we gather up the facts and hold accountable and responsible anybody who was involved in this.”

    He wont’ comment specifically on the AP phone records case. But he refused to apologize for protecting Americans working in the shadows overseas.

    (President Obama) “About information that might compromise their missions or might get them killed.”

    President Obama says it may be time re-consider the idea of passing a federal reporter shield law.
