Drunk Driving Crackdown?
A new crackdown on drunk driving may be coming. Federal investigators now recommending that the DUI threshold be changed.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
The National Transportation Safety Board is officially recommending that the threshold for being too drunk to legally drive be lowered from a .08 blood-alcohol content to .05. It would give law enforcement the ability to arrest drivers who drank less before driving drunk, hoping to curb more drunk driving deaths. The NTSB says European nations who made the change cut down their drunk driving fatalities by 50% percent.
