FOX News Radio’s Courtney Kealy reports:
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie secretly underwent gastric band surgery to lose weight for his wife and his children after turning 50. He told the “New York Post” for him it was about looking at his children and wanting to be there for them. He underwent gastric surgery on February 16th. A tube was placed around his stomach to restrict how much food he can eat. He said the procedure lasted 40 minutes and he was home the same afternoon. The popular outspoken Republican said he was not motivated by thoughts of running for president.
