The FBI searched the Rhode Island home where Katherine Russell, the widow of the dead Boston Marathon bombing suspect, has been staying. Officials left the home carrying out a laptop a briefcase and a bag. This as new DNA evidence reportedly surfaces and the defense team of the remaining Boston bombing suspect gets a boost.
FOX News Radio's Courtney Kealy reports:
A source familiar with the investigation confirmed to FOX that female DNA was found on Boston bomb parts but cautions that no conclusions can be drawn yet as the investigation continues.
Meanwhile, the defense team for the surviving brother 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will include prominent San Diego death penalty opponent, attorney Judy Clarke. Her clients have included the Unabomber, the Atlanta Olympics bomber and most recently Tuscon shooter Jared Loughner. All received life sentences instead of the death penalty.
