Denmark researchers say they are closer than ever to an HIV cure.
The breakthrough involves a potential vaccine that cleanses the virus from the reservoirs it forms with DNA cells, forcing it to come to the surface and be destroyed.
The Aarhus University Hospital therapy was effective in lab tests with skin cells, but its success in the human body is still unknown.
