What are the riskiest meats you can put on your plate when it comes to getting sick from them?
FOX News Radio's Lilian Woo has the answer from a new study:
When it comes to the meats most likely to put people in the hospital, ground beef and chicken rack up the most cases of food-borne illness; this according to an analysis of more than 33,000 cases by the Center for Science in Public Interest. The report finding chicken nuggets, ham and sausage pose the lowest risk of food-borne illness.
More than 1,700 incidents over a dozen years were used to analyze outbreaks of salmonella, e. coli, listeria and other pathogens definitively linked to a certain meat.
