Former Mouseketeer Annette Funicello Dies [VIDEO]
The popular Mouseketeer from”The Mickey Mouse Club”, Annette Funicello has died. She was 70 years old and had been battling multiple sclerosis for many years. She passed away Monday at Mercy Southwest Hospital in Bakersfield, California.

She was the consummate girl next door, known to millions of fans as ‘Annette’.

Annette Funicello was thrust into the national spotlight in 1955 as the founding member of the decade’s most popular click: The Mickey Mouse Club.
(Funicello) “As pretty little Shenandoe in Walt Disney’s great new movie “The Light in the Forest”…”
In the 60’s, a whole different Funicello and teen idol Frankie Avalon showed America how to strut the wild bikini six times. After the tide went out for the ‘Beach’ films, Funicello kept working on films and television, best known to the younger generation as the pitch mom for Skippy Peanut Butter
