Tougher Gun Laws Proposed in CT

    It’s the response to the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Connecticut lawmakers working out proposals for new gun control.

    FOX News Radio’s Courtney Kealy reports:

    Connecticut lawmakers say the proposal includes some of the toughest gun laws in the country including a ban on large capacity ammunition magazines, a new registry for existing high capacity magazines and background checks for private gun sales.

    Nicole Hockley’s son Dylan was killed in the Newtown shootings.

    (Hockley) “If my son Dylan was in Miss Soto’s class where 11 children escaped when the shooter had to reload, had he had smaller capacity magazines, I know that there’s a chance that Dylan would be alive today.”

    Lawmakers are expected to vote on the proposals tomorrow.
