Nelson Mandela Back In Hospital
Nelson Mandela is back in the hospital. The former President of South Africa is suffering from a recurring lung infection.
FOX News Radio’s Emily Wither reports:
The 94-year-old has become increasingly frail, and Nelson Mandela has been hospitlized a number of times in the last year.
The last time the former leader was in the hospital was earlier this month for a medical test, but the lung infection he suffered from in December appears to have returned.
South African President Jacob Zuma is calling for the world to pray for Mandela and his family.
Mandela served 27 years in prison under the country’s white minority apartheid regime but was later elected South Africa’s first black President.
