Republicans Talk New Strategy

    Reince Priebus

Republicans have done some soul searching since Mitt Romney lost the 2012 presidential election, and now they’re ready to make some changes in strategy well before the 2016 election.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from Washington:

Party Chairman Reince Priebus says the GOP leadership knows the party has problems, and they’re taking steps to fix them, starting with five major categories.

(Priebus) “Messaging, demographic partners, campaign mechanics, technology and the primary process.”

Priebus wants to get the message of the Republican party out to minority communities, colleges and other under-served communities.

And he admits, they lost the big races of 2012 because the GOP message was weak, its ground game inadequate, and they were not inclusive.
