Lindsay Lohan's trial was over before it began. Just as jury selection was set to begin in the case that could have sent Lohan back to jail, the often-troubled actress agreed to a plea deal.
FOX News Radio's Sabrina Sabbagh has details from L.A.:
Instead of jail, Lindsay Lohan will be spending 90 days in rehab.
(Judge Dabney) "By locked facility, I mean that there are no day passes, and you have to stay within the program for the 90-day period."
Los Angeles Superior Judge James Dabney also sentenced the actress to 18 months of psychotherapy, 30 days of community service and ordered her to pay restitution related to the car accident. The 26-year-old has 45 days to enter into the rehab program.
The plea deal was reached when Lohan agreed to enter pleas of no contest on two misdemeanor charges related to her car crash last summer.

After the appearance, Lohan's father, Michael, appeared before cameras, taking exception with his daughter's attorney, Mark Jay Heller. Heller has represented both Michael and Lindsay Lohan, and Michael accused him of misrepresenting his daughter and withholding information from her.
