Manhunt for Chicago Baby Killer
There are still no arrests – only shock and anger – in Chicago, the the day after a baby girl, shot while her dad was changing her diaper, died.
FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper has more from Chicago:
Teddy bears are now at the spot where 6-month-old Jonylah Watkins and her father were gunned down in a minivan Monday. The two were shot multiple times.
(Superintendent Garry McCarthy) “This appears to be a targeted incident.”
Police sources tell the Chicago Sun Times that Jonathan Watkins is a gang member who has been arrested at least 30 times in the last six years. It’s not clear whether he’s helping with the investigation – Watkins is in serious condition. Family spokesperson Pastor Corey Brooks:
(Pastor Brooks) “These persons who committed this horrible crime, we guarantee you they will be brought to justice.”
A $15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
