FOX Poll: Americans Favor Sequester
The majority of American voters say the $85 billion in sequestration budget cuts should be allowed to kick in, according to the latest FOX News poll.
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso has details:
The latest FOX News poll shows 57% of voters think the only way to control the deficit is through sequester because lawmakers are unable to get the job done. More than half also feel the cuts won’t have the negative effect on the country that the President has claimed. And the FOX poll finds that 37% of voters think the Obama Administration is less open and transparent than previous administrations, though 35% say it’s about the same.
More Americans are also feeling worse about the economy: 55% polled say things are getting worse, while 31% who took part in the FOX poll think things are getting better.
