AEHQ: Presidential Campaigns After Sandy
President Obama takes another day off of campaigning Wednesday as his Republican challenger gets back on the campaign trail.
FOX News Radio White House Correspondent Mike Majchrowitz reports from the White House in this election update:
From America’s Election Headquarters…
The President today heads to New Jersey to tour storm damage there. He was off the campaign trail yesterday, talking with federal response officials, governors and mayors and paying a quick visit to Red Cross headquarters.
(Obama) “I think all of us obviously have been shocked by the force of mother nature.”
Meanwhile, Mitt Romney suspended campaigning yesterday as well, instead attending a disaster relief fundraiser in Ohio.
(Romney) “If you have more canned good bring them along to our victory centers that are open but also if you can write a check to American Red Cross that’s welcome as well.”
But today the governor plans to get back to campaigning with a slate of stops in Florida.
