NASCAR: Johnson Win Gives Him Points Lead
The two drivers leading the Chase both turned in strong performances on Sunday – one was good, the other was really good.
FOX News Radio’s Chris Hoenig recaps the race:
It’s essentially a two-man race for the Sprint Cup.
(Keselowski) “This championship’s gonna come down to Homestead. You just gotta be in position to where you’ve got a shot at it, and we’re doing the things it’s gonna take.”
Brad Keselowski now two points behind Jimmie Johnson, who feels good about picking up the additional three points with Sunday’s win on ESPN.
(Johnson) “Ecstatic about the win today, ecstatic about the points lead…but this is no cakewalk, you know. These guys are bringing their best each and every week.”
Clint Bowyer moved up to third, 26 points back. Kasey Kahne is in fourth, but has only three races to make up a 29-point deficit.
