FOX in the Fast Lane: Hollywood Casino 400 (Kansas)

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase heads to the newly repaved Kansas Speedway. AJ Allmendinger rides again for Phoenix Racing and Denny Hamlin cracks up during practice.

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee “Trackside” Teshineh has more in this week’s race preview:

Fox in the Fast Lane.

Drivers will be dealing with a new and improved Kansas. The mile and a half track getting a repaving in the spring. And for Matt Kenseth that means:

Kenseth: “All your notes from the past you just throw away and start over.”

For Clint Bowyer, racing this weekend at Kansas will be a little stressful because:

Bowyer: “You put a lot of pressure on yourself because it’s important to you. You know it’s important to run good in front of your hometown crowd and in front of your family.”

Kevin Harvick is hoping his team can step up their game at Kansas.

Harvick: “We obviously need to have a little more speed in our cars, so we’ve got a lot of things on the agenda to try to accomplish that.”

Meanwhile, Denny Hamlin says he’s feeling okay after a hard crash during a practice run this week at Kansas made him feel dizzy. Hamlin was going over 200 miles per hour when he clipped the rear of his car on the wall entering turn one. And AJ Allmendinger races again for Phoenix Racing this weekend at Kansas Speedway.
