Fidel Castro Suffers Stroke, Says Doctor
A new report says former Cuban leader Fidel Castro is seriously ill.
FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from Washington DC:
A doctor from Venezuela who says he has access to first-hand sources, says Fidel Castro suffered a stroke. The doctor tells the Miami newspaper El Nuevo Herald, Castro has trouble speaking, eating, and can’t recognize anyone. Castro was last seen in public in March, when Pope Benedict visited Cuba. The doctor says Castro’s receiving constant medical care at his home and that it’s a very good bet, we’ll never see him in public again.
