When To Fly On The Cheap

    If you want to navigate the tricky world of airfares, there are four tips that could save you money.

    If you want to fly at the best possible price, mark four dates on your calendar.

    Number one: Thanksgiving. Holiday fares can eat-up your wallet, but not the day the bird goes under the knife. According to ‘USA Today’, Thanksgiving Day is as much as 40% cheaper.

    Number two: December 18th. Last day before the airlines hike the fare up to 30% more for the Christmas season.

    Number three: March 20th. Book a trip to Europe. The day after, rates go up.

    The last magic day: June 3rd. Head for Tokyo. Singapore Airlines will fly you for $852, round-trip, half what Delta and United charge.
