Supreme Court Blocks Early End to Ohio Early Voting
Voting hours have been issued in Ohio for the final three days before Election Day after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected an appeal in an early voting fight.
FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports:
The state’s Republican Secretary of State has ordered three additional days of early voting for all Ohio voters after losing an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. The dust-up stems from an Ohio law that had stripped the final three days of early voting, except for members of the military and Ohioans living abroad.
The Obama campaign challenged that law, and a Federal appeals court agreed and reinstated those last three days for everyone. Ohio Republicans asked the Supreme Court to step in, a request the court has denied.
