Indulging in junk food after a heart break may not always be so bad. Harvard psychotherapists say whether you are celebrating or just want some comfort, it can actually be healthy to emotionally eat…once in a while.
Carbohydrates found in comfort foods cause changes in the brain that lead to a release of feel-good chemical reactions. Experts warn binging on ice cream every day won’t have any positive health benefits, but sometimes, it’s just what you need.
