FOX News Radio’s David Noto reports:
Hugo Chavez surviving his closest election since taking office and will serve another six-year term as President. Opposition candidate Enrique Capriles had given him a run for his money, gaining strong momentum right before the vote. But Chavez pulled through, taking the victory in an election that bitterly divided Venezuela. Voter turnout was high with millions taking to the polls on Sunday. With the Socialist leader still in power, he’ll push for an even bigger state role in the economy and have tense relations the United States.
